Danielle Jordaan (Botha) was born in Cape Town, Western Cape. Before weddings she studied fine art at Ruth Prowse School of Art and graphic design at Red&Yellow Creative School of Business in Cape Town. She is a Loerie Award finalist, Design Indaba’s Emerging Creatives Class of 2020 and made the Sanlam Portrait Award Top 250 (2021). Apart from her live event paintings, she also paints oil paintings and she teaches coffee painting workshops. Danielle’s art studio is based in Twee Riviere, Eastern Cape where she lives with her carpenter husband on a family run homestead.

Danielle Jordaan (Botha) started painting at her first wedding in Oct 2020. She has lways had a passion for people: The studio grew into an agency when Danielle realized that she loved helping other artists figure out the ins-and-outs of practical mundane admin and she enjoyed taking the lead in running logistics and client relationships.

 

She says it feels like the artwork is well in the making from the moment the client reaches out to the artist and all the correspondence in between. Creating memories that last not just on canvas but also client-artist relationship thats quite personal in a way.
